What is the difference between legacy items diablo 3
I sold a hc skull grasp with max cd zombie dog in the final days of ah for close to 2 bil. I saw people using them for a few years after even tho it was lvl If nothing else, keep some for nostalgia. Any legendaries with legacy powers are pretty much automatic souls. Legacy Thing of the Deep mojo - 20 pickup radius is its secondary stat. With cubed new version you get 40 yards radius.
If you ever want someone to take a legacy puzzle ring off your hands, I would be willing to take it. Of all the legacy gear, that is the least likely to be parted with. Kept all my Puzzle rings, with merc and I wearing guarantees 2 goblins at least every 15 min. Sholders with 7 pickup radius. Still have the 2 socket Manticores, Tasker and Theo gloves with socket, waiting for leg gems to be allowed in weapons.
Lots of good Legacy items. I have some vanilla-era stuff but nothing too special. I support this decision. This change continues to keep DP ladders relevant and up-to-date. I don't think it's fair that people who still use those legacy items purchased from AH should be included. New players to Diablo 3 will be at an instant disadvantage because they never had the chance to farm a vanilla witching hour, or any other legacy pieces.
Fully support and agree with the decision. I use this site a lot to compare gear. If something lowers my DPS but raises elemental dmg, I'd like to see how much of a benefit I get from it. We got 1 World Clan. They changed it to Elemental World Clan. We got 1 World Elemental Clan. They changed it to no legacy items. But guess what!?!!? We're 1 World Elemental Clan again.. Victorem Victis. US Repping.
A possible legacy quadri or pentafecta is a lot better than any ammy or ring now and then will not have any toughness loss. Anyway don't forget Legacy Tal Rasha Amulet too. So since it is an arbitrary score who cares if it only includes items obtainable in the game now?
Bored to see this fire DPS build in top. You're just changing the rules on an already arbitrary score. If you're going to score based on just one aspect of a character in this case, DPS then anything that buffs DPS should be valid. It's already a meaningless rank anyways. The psychological hit though is much worse. People freaked out because it was a nerf, and it hit them right in the psychology. Last edited by Jaetch : Feb 5, Rollback Post to Revision RollBack. Zero pS. Thanks Jaetch! I was considering doing exactly this, but as usual your awesomeness beat me to it. I also believe people need a better, cleaner view of the issue, without all the crap that other thread spawned. Let's see if we can keep this one more focused and with more reasonable arguments. Quote from Jaetch ». That's just how I personally feel, my very own flawed opinion. Bear that in mind. A lot of people like the current RoS itemization much better than Vanilla. To me, it took 2 steps forward and 1 and a half steps back.
Not the 5 steps forward I was expecting. You always hear "items are boring", you never hear suggestions for making them better. The few suggestions you do hear are just ways to make them overpowered. Quote from Seifa. Quote from Maka. Quote from Finder. Thanks for putting together this Thread Jaetch! As for my stance on this however; I agree with not allowing legacy items to be enchanted, for a couple reasons.
Suddenly putting loot 2. I'm willing to bet that would actually piss off people more, because now you're directly screwing with items that people already have. Not a great option. In the end, just making a blanket rule of all legacy items being unable to be enchanted is the best way to go, in my opinion. Blizzard doesn't have to go back and re-balance parts of the game, they don't have to waste time creating special rules for a select few items, and they don't have to go back and directly manipulate items that people already own.
I hope they stick with this, I think it will result in a healthier game. Last edited by Bleu42 : Feb 5, I feel as though making 70 items even better is the wrong way to do this Don't hate me or bash me yet follow me on this. If they up the power on the newer items to be even more powerful than the current legacy items, then the game has to now accommodate for those new items i.
I'm in preference of this "band-aid" they've made by not allowing legacy items to be enchanted because it removes them from potentially being much better than the newer items and it allows the game to still be farm-able in its current state. You're not jumping into the game and going from mp10 to master, you're finding a middle ground where it works but barely and there's definitely room to improve.
Not even Death will save you from Diablo Bunny's Cuteness! It's like I said in the other thread.
