We also accept monetary donations which can be mailed or contributed online with a credit or debit card. We ask that you donate usable things, since Goodwill cannot repair items before they are sold. According to IRS regulations, a non-profit organization cannot provide a donor with the dollar value of an in-kind gift. There are many sources to locate reasonable values for your donations. Our system will not allow us to generate an ID number unless someone makes a donation. If you can find any additional items to donate, we encourage you to bring them to your nearest donation center and you will receive a ticket with a new ID number.

You can use the new ID number to register your donation and simply consolidate the values and description of both donations. Goodwill used to have a training program that trained people to repair broken donations that were then sold. Our mission model has since changed.

We no longer have that training program and are not equipped to repair items. We access the quality of donations before placing them on the selling floor.
