If you're as much a completionist as I am in games, then you'll have a lot of fun with Diablo III —a title that's literally metaphorically burdened with more secrets than you can shake your fists at. Among the secrets you'll have fun uncovering are a host of secret dungeons that only have a small chance of appearing each time you enter certain parts of the game—and every part of the game seems to have a few of these around. You'll need to visit each and every single one of these secret dungeons and read various books and manuscripts found throughout these areas to acquire the related achievements.

We'll start off with the game's first three acts and their secret and not-so-secret dungeons. Much like Act 2 in the previous game, Act 2 of Diablo III takes place in the desert—this time in the sands surroundings the city of Caldeum. The sands hide a number of secret dungeons that you'll have to revisit multiple times to uncover. Notably, the Fowl Lair and the Veiled Treasure can only be accessed through a special portal device that spawns very occasionally.

I recently checked out the achievements and there is one for exploring all the dungeons. At first, I was like "I probably only need like one or two in each act". Turns out that I'm missing about five dungeons in each act besides Act IV since it only has four total dungeons. Not only did I find that out but you get a stein german beer mug for your banner if you find them all in Act I.

I started up my game on nightmare and ran through all of Act 1 starting from quest one. Some of the dungeons only appear randomly. This explains my feeling of completing them all because, when the game came out, I was all about exploring and finding hidden treasures. Well, I was wondering if we could help each other and put our heads together. If you come across a dungeon that you rarely see, come here and post about the general location. I will edit the OP every few days.

Cool idea! Will help out if I find anything! In Act 2, the area where you pick up Kulle's blood in 2 different caves, theres a chance that a big rock worm purple name will spawn.
