Since seasons may last for multiple months, an owner may book up to 15 months in advance of their desired arrival. Bookings made at West 57 Street by Hilton Club have a separate reservation window, different from regular home week reservations.
Those who own a week at this resort may make a reservation as early as 9 months in advance of their stay. All other HGVC owners may make a reservation as early as 45 days prior to arrival.
Owners may book an open season reservation within a period of 30 days before arrival. A minimum of two nights is required for open season reservations at club affiliates and a minimum of three nights is necessary for RCI exchanges.
Through the changeable reservation policy, owners may change their reservation date, location, length of stay and type of accommodation. Changes requiring the same or more points as the original reservation can be made at no additional charge. Changes requiring less points must be made 30 days in advance of arrival, or the usual cancellation policy and its associated fees apply. Owners may deposit points from the current year for use during the next year. Deposits made towards RCI exchange at non-Hilton hotels may be used up to two years from their date of deposit.
Rescued points may also be deposited in a RCI account; however, they must be used within one year of their date of deposit. These reservations are handled through the club reservation period and can be made up to 9 months in advance. Points can be deposited with RCI and may be used for two years from the date of deposit or may be used directly without depositing them in an RCI account. Non-deposited points must be used before their indicated expiration date.
Cancelling a reservation at least 31 days prior to arrival will not result in a loss of any Club Points used towards that reservation. Cancellations made 5 days prior will lose all points for that booking. Cancellations on reservations made during the home week reservation period 12 to 9 months in advance do not incur any additional penalties or fees.
However, cancellations made in the club season 9 months in advance or home resort season 9 months in advance at West 57 Street incur an additional forfeit fee. Elite Status members are those with over 14, Club Points. Elite Plus members own at least 24, Club Points. Members with over 34, Club Points qualify for Elite Premier status. Purchasing a resale limits owners from achieving Elite membership status. Please note that details regarding any club, such as use rights, reservation policies, exchange privileges, etc.
Please contact clubs vacatia. Currently, there are 63 resorts listed below and grouped into one of three categories:. Per the Club Member Guide, an Affiliated Resort is a resort that has entered into an agreement to participate in the Club program provided it maintains our high quality standards of amenities and service.
Certain facets of HGVC ownership can be distinctly different between properties, dependent on whether HGVC has built the resort, or if another developer has built the resort an affiliate resort. While many HGVC built resorts were typically sold as floating week ownerships, which can be used as points throughout the Hilton system, different ownership types and rules may apply.
For example, in Florida, a majority of the affiliated resorts were sold offering fixed week, as well as flex week, timeshare options. Predetermined amounts of points are assigned to all HGVC ownerships based on the following:. Club Members automatically receive a deposit of ClubPoints annually or biennially depending on their deeded ownership. Unused ClubPoints for a given year will expire at the end of the calendar year. ClubPoints do expire, but can be saved for 1 additional years use in the club.
In contrast, an owner of a fixed week ownership is automatically booked their deeded week. An owner who chooses not to use their automatic home week reservation will be allotted a fixed amount of Club Points each year, based on location, size of unit and season in which they own.
Along with your initial purchase there are ongoing annual Maintenance Fees and annual Club Dues. Biennial owners may be billed Maintenance Fees annually or partially every other year depending on the resort. However Club Dues are billed annually to all members including biennial ownerships! For multi-week owners, Annual Club Dues are paid only once per year not for each resort week. As a result, owners with different seasons may pay the same annual MF at the same resort.
For example, the following owners at the same resort may pay the same annual MF. For this reason, some owners choose to purchase a week in a higher season with more ClubPoints instead of one or more weeks in a lower season with less ClubPoints.
NOTE: Prices are generally higher for the higher seasons compared to the lower seasons. Additionally, Hilton affiliate owners are not required to join the Club, though they are able to sign up and pay an enrollment fee if they choose to become a Club member. Compare this with HGVC built resort owners who are automatically enrolled as Club members and cannot choose to withdraw membership from the club. Club membership includes annual membership to RCI.
Elite Plus members may make reservations at the above resorts as well as the following International Holiday Retreats properties:. Elite Premier members may make reservations at the above resorts as well as the following additional properties:. Ownership with HGVC is a deeded, fee simple, one-week interest in a single property during a specific time of the year, or season.
If the resort is HGVC built, one is allotted a fixed amount of Club Points each year, determined by the extent and type of the accommodations i. HGVClub determines their seasons by breaking up weeks in the following manner:. These seasons vary based on the demand of a resort during these particular weeks. Certain weeks are sold as a fixed week that can be canceled and turned into points. An example of this is week 52 at The Las Vegas Strip property.
It is sold as a fixed week, which is automatically reserved for the owner. The reservation can be cancelled and it will be worth the associated platinum points. The points associated with each season of HGVC built resort have fixed values based on the unit size and view. The unit size and the particular resort one is deeded to determines the maintenance fees.
There is no discrepancy in maintenance fees for a platinum, gold, silver or bronze week at that particular property, so long as the unit size is identical.
Below is a seasons chart to help assist owners in determining their timeshare ownership. HGVC Resorts. Platinum Season. Gold Season. Silver Season. Reservations can be made using your home week at your home resort , or at other resorts in the Hilton network. Some fees may apply for certain reservation requests.
Hilton is affiliated with the timeshare exchange company Resort Condominiums International , allowing HGVC members to take advantage of their vast network of timeshare accommodations.
When reserving accommodations through RCI, some fees may apply. HGVC points can be converted to HHonors points, which could come in handy if you have extra points left over after you make your reservation.
